Unsolved (RTÉ)

Unsolved is a weekly Irish cold-case podcast from RTÉ, presented by crime journalist Barry Cummins and 2FM presenter Katja Mia. According to RTÉ's launch release, Cummins brings 30 years of experience in radio, television and print. The series began on 27 July 2026 with a short introduction, followed on 29 July by two episodes on Arlene Arkinson, who was 15 when she went missing after a disco in Bundoran in August 1994 and whose body has never been found. It has since covered cases including Philip Cairns and Trevor Deely, both of whom it treats as missing people. Each case is told over one or more episodes, and the show's description says the series investigates Irish cold cases "with the victim firmly at the centre of the story". New episodes usually arrive on Wednesdays and run for about 20 to 45 minutes. Content warning: missing children and teenagers, possible murder.
