Back To The Wall

Back To The Wall is an Australian investigative podcast from Podshape, hosted by journalist Camille Bianchi, whose earlier work, according to the show, includes The Nurse, Inside the Tribe and Rotten Apple. The series returns to Kings Cross in Sydney and tells its story through the eyes of the streetkids who lined "the Wall". It asks why, in the show's words, questions remain about Ivan Milat's movements before his arrest, and explores the theory that his crimes could have been covered up. Milat was convicted in 1996 of the murders of seven backpackers and died in prison in 2019. Episodes 1 and 2 are free; Episodes 3 and 4 are currently subscriber-only on Apple. Content warning: child sexual exploitation themes, serial murder and violence.
